Dance Class Descriptions

Please stop by the office or Dance Studio before your class to register.

Tiny Dancers

This class is designed to help children get a first taste of a classroom environment. It will work on things like coordination, left & right, counting rhythm, creativity, and pre-dance skills such as demi-pointe & turns. This class is generally recommended for students ages 3-4. This class is a combination class of ballet & tap.

Beginners A & B

These classes are designed to inspire young dancers by beginning their dance journey in a fun way. Students will receive combination tap and ballet classes. This class is generally for ages 5-7.


Level 1

This class is an introduction to classical ballet, and will focus heavily on technique. This is the level where students will transition into a more serious ballet training. Students will need to take both Level 1 classes each week to receive their 2 hours of instruction.

Level 2

In level 2 students will start building their ballet terminology and begin prepping for pointe. Students will receive training in ballet, pre-pointe, jazz, and tap. Tap and Jazz for this level are split into sub levels 2a and 2b based on previous experience.

Pre - Pointe


Level 3

In Level 3 students will dig into the smaller details of ballet and begin pointe work. Students will receive training in ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap. Students in level 3 are encouraged to attend pre-pointe to continue strengthening their feet even if they are on pointe.
