We are a contemporary church with conservative values; a blend of cultures in the Truth of God.
Esperanza Del Rio Community Church and First Baptist Church of Del Rio have merged.Our new name is Esperanza First to honor the great legacy of First Baptist and the vision and heart of Esperanza. This is an exciting move that could only happen under the hand of the Lord. Come join us at 301 Avenue G and see what great things God is doing there!
Our Beliefs
We believe that the hope of salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Our vision is to be a center for impacting the Border Region with the Gospel of Christ.
Reclaiming the Arts
At Esperanza First we have a passion for the arts. We have a goal to teach Christians how to use their artistic gifts for Christ. To inspire hope, bring the gospel to people in new ways, and to bring glory to God.
We have many arts ministries at Esperanza First! Check out our new Dance School or look at our many Taekwondo class options. We also have Archery, Boxing, Fitness, and Music Lessons.
We are proud to offer year-round open enrollment in all of our programs! At this time we cannot take walk-ins, so if you’d like to register for classes please do so here!
